The Big Pink | A Brief History of Love

thebigpinklove

A little shoegaze, noise, drone, electronic, and indie influence sounds good if you can put it all together the right way. The Big Pink did just that. Both members had help and experience in and with other bands, and that help and experience paid off. They know they’re not the best musicians, but they also know that if you use the right approach and good production, you can make amazing noises. Their debut album A Brief History of Love is a huge hit in the UK, and it is slowly but surely becoming more and more of a big hit here as well. Oh…and they’re obsessed with Elvis Presley so that makes me like them even more.

The Big Pink are swinging through the 7th Street Entry doors on November 25th, so make sure you go check them out! You’ll be bummed if you don’t. It’s on Thanksgiving Eve so you don’t work. No excuses! Sorry for nagging, but seriously…
